Brianna and Michael’s story began at Providence College, where a chance meeting grew into an easy, enduring connection. With Brianna’s Midwestern roots calling them home, they chose to begin this next chapter at her parents’ historic Tudor residence—a setting that naturally reflected family, comfort, and timeless romance. The weekend began with a relaxed welcome party hosted by the groom’s parents, gathering loved ones from near and far. On the wedding day, the couple exchanged vows in a sacred ceremony at St. James Parish before guests returned to the backyard for a garden cocktail hour, where passed hors d’oeuvres, freshly shucked oysters, and flowing drinks created an effortless, welcoming tone.

The design embraced a classic garden aesthetic with a playful, late-summer vibrancy—featuring whimsical florals in lavenders, pinks, and soft yellows layered against lush greenery, with touches of gold, wicker accents, and delicate bow details woven throughout. Oyster shell place cards added a thoughtful, personal touch, while the sailcloth tented reception felt like an elevated backyard escape, reminiscent of an intimate Italian courtyard. As candlelight flickered across textured green linens, the atmosphere became warm, layered, and luminous. The celebration continued into the carriage house, where a live band brought the energy to life, filling the dance floor and closing the night with a joyful sparkler sendoff.
