We’ve all heard the word “pivot” way too much over the past couple of years but this wedding may take the cake on that concept since we switched venues about 8 weeks out from their wedding! We landed on The Hewing hotel which is ironic because Lauren originally insisted her one thing was that she didn’t want a hotel ballroom. Luckily for us, The Hewing is anything BUT a typical ballroom! They loved the dark, moody backdrop it provided, the amazing food they serve and the unique, historical landmark their guests would get to enjoy. Despite the extreme pivot, this wedding was not only gorgeous but ended up being exactly where it should have been…
