When we started working with Katie & Charlie, they were both finishing law school, about to do internships and studying for the bar exam all while planning a wedding - what’s stressful about that?! I think this will always be one of my favorite weddings because we took their ideas and they let us just run with them. They truly didn’t have time for anything else! We designed intricately planned tables with different candles and centerpieces scattered throughout to give it an eclectic but polished look. We embraced the gorgeous gardens at American Swedish Institute where the reception was held and enhanced that with garden roses, line flowers and textured greens. We added in vintage touches with the lace runners and pressed glass chargers and let everything else speak for itself. Simple, elegant, timeless, beautiful.
